What Am I Passionate About?
As someone who deeply experiences the world through my emotional body, I am passionate about teaching others body attunement and awareness as powerful tools for healing.
As a Somatic Psychotherapist, I use somatic therapy to help individuals cultivate natural body awareness, empowering them to navigate life’s challenges with flexibility and self-advocacy. I specialize in supporting BIPOC women, young adults, and couples as they navigate anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, and grief or loss.
My Approach to Therapy
I believe in co-creating a healing space where clients feel safe to be their most authentic selves. My priority is nurturing an environment that allows individuals to explore past traumas, break intergenerational cycles, challenge societal conditioning, and identify self-sabotaging patterns free from shame and judgment.
Rooted in somatic therapy and guided by a humanistic lens, my approach fosters deep, relational connections. I integrate various therapeutic modalities, including Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Relational Therapy, tailoring each session to meet my client’s unique needs.
Lastly, movement is our first language and provides a profound pathway to self-expression and healing. I am committed to continuing my development as a movement therapist by offering workshops to BIPOC communities and surrounding areas.

I earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Naropa University in 2021, with an emphasis in Dance Movement Therapy (DMT).
Beyond the Office
I am a proud Southern belle who leads with love and connection. When I am not working, you will find me being a fierce friend, dancing to my heart’s content, or exploring new cuisines. I live by Audre Lorde’s words: “It is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept, and celebrate those differences.”
