What Am I Passionate About?

My path toward therapy grew from a desire to understand the emotional and mental experiences that often go unspoken, particularly within BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities. I am passionate about helping people cultivate stability, emotional release, self-acceptance, and a deeper connection to themselves in a world that often demands silence or resilience without support.

To me, therapy is both a refuge and a creative process. It is a space to slow down, explore what has been carried for too long, and gently examine the beliefs, emotions, and patterns that shape how we move through life. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck, or unsure of who you are becoming, I believe healing is possible through curiosity, compassion, and intentional support.

My Approach to Therapy

My approach is grounded in the principle of doing no harm and is guided by empathy, curiosity, and empowerment. I work from an integrative, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive framework, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and other evidence-based practices. I adapt each session to what is most supportive for you, rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all approach.

I strive to create a transparent, non-judgmental, and collaborative space where your authentic self is welcomed, seen, heard, and valued. Together, we explore your inner and outer world, your strengths, challenges, lived experiences, and desires, with the goal of fostering acceptance, emotional release, and meaningful, lasting change.

I believe therapy itself is an art, one that involves many expressions, emotions, and discoveries along the way. You bring your lived experience and inner wisdom. I offer presence, curiosity, and support as we explore the creative and unfolding process of therapy and shape what healing and growth look and feel like for you.

“The ground we've covered, the distance between where we started and where we're at, is much further than the distance between where we're at and where we think we're trying to get.” – Nipsey Hussle  ~
