What Am I Passionate About?
My path has consistently led me toward roles that center on helping others—through mentoring, teaching, and coaching—and now through the work of therapy.
To me, therapy is an invitation to step into the rich, unpredictable, and sometimes turbulent landscape of our full human experience. It is a space to engage with the complexity and depth of life—its challenges, beauty, and uncertainty—with curiosity, compassion, and courage. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, “not good enough,” lost, or stuck in despair, I trust that healing and transformation are possible—together. The very act of seeking support is a sign of strength, and I truly value and honor it.
With 27 years of experience in helping roles, my passion for growth, creativity, and connection has only deepened.
My Approach to Therapy
My approach is relational, integrative, and trauma-informed. Using a humanistic, client-centered lens and, when agreed upon with clients, incorporating EMDR techniques. I offer a safe and open space for you to connect with your thoughts, feelings, and physical experiences. I believe in your innate wisdom and strive to support your journey toward clarity, authenticity, and wholeness. Therapy with me is about reconnecting with your most authentic self and building tools that foster resilience, purpose, and meaningful change.
I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and existential or spiritual concerns. I’m committed to creating an inclusive, affirming space for all clients, where every part of you is welcome.
You are the expert on your life. My role is to walk alongside you with attuned presence, compassion, and curiosity. Together, we’ll create a safe, nonjudgmental space where healing can unfold, and new possibilities can take root. Wherever you are, we are in this together.
“Your present circumstances don’t determine where you can go; they merely determine where you start.” ~ Dr. Nido R. Qubein ~
Education Background
I hold a B.A. in Fine Art and Education from the University of Northern Colorado and an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Colorado Christian University. I am also EMDR-trained.
Beyond the Office
When I’m not in session, you’ll often find me engaging with the things that nourish my own sense of creativity and connection. I spend time in my studio making art, wandering through nature with my camera or sketchbook, or relaxing with a good book in my hammock, giving space for stillness and reflection. Time with family and friends is also deeply important to me, whether that’s sharing a meal, enjoying a walk outdoors, or catching up over coffee. I also love experimenting in the kitchen—cooking and baking are creative outlets that bring me both joy and grounding. These moments of connection, creativity, and quiet continue to shape how I show up—both for myself and in my work as a therapist.
I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey toward healing and growth.
